It is easy for Lumin users to change the email address that is associated with their Lumin account and used for logging in to the Lumin Smart app. This process can be used by either Lumin installers or system owners.

1. Log in to the Lumin Smart app using your old email address.
  • Unless you have forgotten your password and need a password reset email, you do not need access to this email address in order to log in to the app.
2. Select the Menu icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
3. Choose Location Settings.

4. Select Manage Users.

5. Type in the new email address you want to use to log in with and press Invite.

6. Look for an email from Lumin in your newly-added email account.
7. Follow the link in the email to create a new Lumin user account for this email address.
8. Log in to Lumin with this new account in the future.



The Lumin user with the old email can be removed afterwards if desired.

2. Select the Menu icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
3. Choose Location Settings.

5. Press the Remove User icon next to the email address you want to remove.
