This support article is a stub. It will soon be expanded to better document best practices for CT and grid voltage detection when more than one Lumin Smart Panel is installed at the same location.

Note that combining more than five LSPs into a single Lumin location may result in degraded app performance.

A basic multi-LSP location can be configured as shown below. This example maintains accurate data but only allows circuits controlled by LSP 1 to be designated as optional in Smart Power Mode. LSP 2 and 3 circuits in this example can only be designated as undesired or essential in the case of a grid outage.

Please contact Lumin Customer Support at 1-888-421-0616 for customized advice on multi-LSP locations.

Note: When Smart Power Mode is fully utilized, system designers may have to make a choice between having Optional circuits on multiple LSPs or having accurate data across the entire Lumin installation. The following diagrams illustrate recommended CT configurations for both scenarios: prioritizing demand-based circuit control and prioritizing power and energy data. Installers should choose the option that is most important to their customer when choosing how to configure CTs. Learn more about Smart Power Mode and Optional circuits in the following article:
